Announcements

Don't miss out on any exciting news and events happening at New Hope.

This Mother’s Day, NHBCEO pauses to pray and ask God to comfort the hearts of those who are without their mothers and mothers who are without their children.

We sat down with a member of our church, Sis. Janet Murphy, who shared this message and these words:

“On the hardest days, when the quiet feels too loud, please know that you are not alone. Your pain matters, and we are here to hold your hand, to sit in the silence, and to honor your journey.

To the mothers here today, who carry a weight to heavy for words, I want to say: I see you. When a child dies, a part of a mother dies too.

The world may look the same on the outside. But I know that inside, you are navigating an unthinkable new reality. It’s a pain that is with every breath you take, yet you are here.

They tell us that time heals, but those who know now that love never dies, and neither does the longing.

If love alone could have keep them here, they would still be here in our arms. Our love was enough and is enough. Our children mattered. They are and will always be our children. Their names deserve to be spoken, and their story needs to be told.

On this Mothers Day, motherhood did not end with their last breath, because we carry them in our hearts instead of in our arms. It continues as a legacy forever, as long as we live. They’re all protected in our hearts.”
