organizing for christian education in the church

Organizing for Christian Education in the Church trains church leaders to design, structure, and administer effective educational and faith formation programs. It will be taught by Dr. Suzzette Nesbitt. The targeted audience includes Board of Christian Education Directors, Board of Christian Education members, and Church Leaders. Those who complete 10 hours of participation and instruction will receive credit from the National Sunday School Publishing Board. The registration fee is $25 for NHBCEO members and $35 for non-members.

Baptist Doctrine & Polity teaches what Baptist churches believe and how they organize and govern themselves. It will be taught by Dr. Johnnie Brooker. Those who complete 10 hours of participation and instruction will receive credit from the National Sunday School Publishing Board. music ministry workshop

On Saturday, September 12th, the Music Ministry will hold a workshop to help participants gain an understanding of choir etiquette and the role music ministry plays in worship by applying biblical references to sacred music. Participants will also learn the responsibilities of choir members, vocal techniques, and the importance of seeking guidance before joining the Music Ministry.
There are several service opportunities available at New Hope. If you are interested in joining the finance committee, the human resources committee, the trustee board, or the media ministry, please click here and submit your information.
