  • The Annual Backpack Giveaway will be held on Saturday, August 8th. The Brotherhood Men’s Ministry is collecting donations for the Backpack Giveaway. Giving can be made via Givelify. See Deacon Herring or Rev. Brown with any questions.

  • The Youth Ministry will host an ice cream social after service on July 26th and August 30th. All youth are welcome to attend.

  • The Seniors’ Ministry is taking a trip to the Columbus Flea Market on Saturday, August 15th at 8am. The cost is $10 per person and is payable on the date of the trip.

  • The Black Business Expo will be held on Saturday, September 12th, from 10 am - 2 pm in Parking Lot #1.  Members and friends, get ready to come out and support our Black-owned businesses and authors.  Vendors can sign up here.

  • If you are a student of the word, a tither, have a background in finance or auditing, and would like to serve on our finance ministry, please sign up here or email Pastor Williams at pastor@nhbceo.org

  • Save the date! The Fall Revival will be held on Monday, September 14th, through Wednesday, September 16th at 7pm each night. Our revivalist will be Rev. Dr. George L. Parks Jr., Senior Pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Largo, Maryland.

Ongoing Announcements:

  • NEW MEMBERS: For those who have not started their new member classes and those who have yet to complete their classes, there is a class taught every Sunday at 9:30 am in the chapel except on a 5th Sunday in the month. There is no class held on 5th Sundays. There is a class on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday, for a total of 4 classes to be completed before baptism and the right hand of fellowship. You can start a class on any Sunday based on your schedule. Each teacher can explain the completion process if you have any questions.

  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Are you a licensed CDL Driver willing to volunteer for Church Bus pick up on Sunday mornings? If so, please contact the church office at 973-678-6710.

  • SUNDAY SCHOOL: The Adult Sunday School Class meets in the sanctuary every Sunday at 9:30 am. Youth Sunday School is back in-person for ages 4-17 and meets in the chapel every Sunday at 9:30am. Online Sunday School Classes for Adults, Children, and Youth can be found on the New Hope Facebook Page.

  • BIBLE STUDY: Wednesday Bible Study is held each week at 12pm (in-person) and 7pm (in-person and online). There will be no Bible Study during the month of August.
