Julia A. Slack Memorial Scholarship Award

This scholarship provides financial support to a high school senior entering a 4-year college or university for students achieving and maintaining high academic honors.

Qualifications to Apply:
Must be a member of New Hope Baptist Church of East Orange
Must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
Must show proof of leadership in school, church or community.
Submit a 500-word essay double spaced: The essay should introduce you and your history at New Hope Baptist Church. You should also discuss your field of study, and how you plan to use your degree to create a life that honors God, your family and the community. Be sure to include how this financial support will help you achieve your goals.
