NEW HOPE Trade Scholarship

This scholarship is for any student 18 and older who wants to pursue a career in trades. There are a number of tests, training, and certifications required for trades, and New Hope desires to defray the cost for our members.

Qualifications to Apply:
Must be a member of New Hope Baptist Church of East Orange
Must have proof of acceptance and enrollment in training, school, or certification program.
Must present an invoice of certification fees or a tuition bill
Must provide a portfolio presentation on the trade (Showcase your designs, projects, and future entrepreneurship). The presentations should introduce you, your history, and your experience at New Hope Baptist Church. You should also demonstrate your gift, talent, or desire to pursue the trade. Finally, share how this support will help you live a life that honors God, your family, and community.
